Literature Text

Dont you just hate to see things torn down?
The soil, when you step on it does it hurt them?
Trees cut down,
From living to death
Are crying silently,
As you stand and watch them
Cut in half.
You smile and know
You're getting paid to kill.
But inside you know
Its really not what you want.
You think its okay, cause its paying the bill.
So you see
Money has taken you over,
A slave
Some might say
You think that its just work
To pay for the clothes that you wear
To sleep where you sleep
And to eat the things you eat.
So I'm asking you today,
Is this what you truly want?
To see the world torn down day by day?
i hate to watch things get torn down...dont you?

Very beautiful and sad at the same time. Through this poem, you have portrayed those emotions wonderfully. :+fav:
